We are very excited to announce the second ever winner of the Tough4T Award.  For those of you that don’t know, Tiana played all of her junior basketball for Spartans, she’s had an amazing career, playing all over the world, in the WNBA and for the Opals.  Most of you are aware of Tiana’s long battle with breast cancer.  Throughout her whole journey, Tiana’s toughness has never waivered.  Her willingness to push through both mental and physical adversity is a true inspiration to everyone around her. We created this award to recognise a person within our association that has pushed through adversity to be able to do what they love.  T is unfortunately not well enough to be here tonight, but she really wanted to recognise this young person.  This player has a physical disability, and through sheer grit, determination and drive, has played representative basketball every year.  He is one of the most well-liked players amongst his peers and is every coach’s dream.
